pepper, salt, paprika, thyme. I would probably add some cumin and maybe some garam masala if I was feeling saucy.

Correct.

I have curried chicken just about every day, so I'm happy to get away from it.

This is the first cow I've had in almost a month.

My first question is, the second package of meat: you couldn't get something larger and closer in price to the one you paid for?

What are we, made of money that you should do this thing?

It was 2 for 1, up to $5.96 savings (fine print).

LOOk at you, with the FINE savings that makes your PApa proud, you do. You're not like the little on with the redness in his hair, the one that doesn't listen to his papa. Such a Goooood boy.

I can safely say I've never had goulash, and I can safely say I am extraordinarily jealous.

That's a fine looking meal, Shelly, and you've done proud by the SG today. :applause:

I cooked a nice pork tenderloin in my crockpot today that is now shredded and barbqued up, but that pales in comparison to what you've accomplished today,

My mom made a goulash with chopped beef (not sure of the beef, maybe chuck) and potatoes. Cooked in a pan. Sadly, I don't have the recipe. Haven't had it since she passed. :(
My Grandmother did one similar, sometimes even with ground beef and she added baked beans. :cloud9:

I'll report back to the SG once it arrives in my yahoo.

The Eastern Europeans have a knack for taking very cheap and humble ingredients and turning them into something delicious, as well as stretching meats to cover far more servings than one would expect. Brilliant culinary tacticians. My personal favorite is the cabbage roll. :luhv:
