It seems pretty simple to me. (shrug)

 

 

"A seller can accept check and money order payment from a buyer if (and only if) the buyer requests it."

 

I do remember a recent thread about this. One seller stated in his auction text that Ebay's policy was that sellers could only accept Paypal and could not accept alternative payment methods unless specifically requested by the buyer. Smart guy.
