2009 NOD Comic Book Triathlon - $500 Prize!

This is just a reminder that today is the last chance to sign up for the NOD Comic Book Triathlon! For those who might have missed the original announcement last week, the Network of Disclosure is hosting a fun competition for comic fans who wish to participate, with a Grand Prize of a $500 gift certificate at Quality Comix and a $100 cash prize for the runner-up (half of the Grand Prize was generously donated by Brent Moeshlin of Quality Comix).

 

The contest will begin this Sunday night at 9:00pm EST. Players will participate in events in three categories: Grading, Trivia, and Guess the Cover. If you would like to join in, simply register at the NOD Forums and post in the following thread:

The official rules make look a little complicated, but actually the premise is very simple. Each week the players will grade one book, answer one trivia question, and guess one cover. After eight weeks, the player with the most points wins. Simple as that.

 

Grading and trivia should be self explanatory. If you want to get a feel for what the Guess the Cover events will be like, you can take a look at this thread from yesterday where we had a little practice session:
