Rangers Comics # 33 (Shark Cover)

Hi all.... would love to hear some boardie's opinions on this one. The front cover is beautiful, but there's a chip in the corner of the back cover. I really like this book, but can't see paying a 9.2 price on it if the BC corner chip brings the grade down substantially.

 

The seller believes the chip is a production chip. What are y'all's thoughts?

More like an 8.0, due to the back cover, IMO.

Looks like chipping. Also look at the BTL it looks like it either chipping about to occur or possible color touch up? This is a really nice looking book, love the older style flat art.

I think it's almost certainly a production issue, but I also think it brings down the grade to 8.5 or thereabouts.
