Heritage currently has a 2.5 AMS #1 and a 3.0 X-Men #1 up for bids. Assuming no interior damage or significantly poor page quality to this Marvel Family #2, I find them to be quite comparable. Hence my given grade.

 

3.5 is a stretch.....3.5+?, no way. JMHO, your mileage may vary....

 

On a side note, the ad for Capt. Marvel stuff on the back is too cool. The statuette must be the one made of Syrocowood. There's also one of Superman that is extremely rare. Has anyone ever seen the Capt. Marvel pencil clip, they say would be sent for free (it's pictured at the top right)?

I missed the rusty staple. Looking it over again it's not a 4.0.
