Geez. Was it $5? I remember it was something, but I forgot it was that much.

 

In those days, flipping was like falling off a log. People would have auctions ending at, say, 2 am eastern on a Wed morning that few people would bother to check. Or they would list as JLA 28, what was actually BB 28 and few people would notice. I remember picking up a number of pre-hero TOS from a couple of people who had their auctions ending at odd times and who couldn't spell the word Suspense.
