Robert Beerbohm is busy watching and feeling "wet cement" dry which are the four layers oif approx 100 sutures inside each of my healing sides of my hip joints wherein on 20 Oct 2009 last week Doctor Mynatt and his expert staff at Saint Vincent's Hospital Joint Replacement Institute expertly replaced both my hip joints.

 

Following a couple rough weather vibrating plane rides back east via Delta Air Lines a couple days ago, the hip joint implants appear to be healing up quite nicely. The people at Delta were wonderful and conscientious. The entire experience with Delta Air Lines people from curb pick-up to drop-off was one I highly recommend to others of similar needs.

 

A sense of grateful wonder has set in, as it were in my present mental state, which remains, also, in intense awe these hip joint replacement operations were accomplished in just three hours plus an extra hour just to scrape the hundreds of tiny bone shards which had broken off as i attempted to walk these past years, having no choice, the surgeon asking me post-op how i managed to walk, i replied i had no choice

 

My shepharding them now towards healing completely correctly the priority now for the next three weeks. Means i have to pretty much lie prone 180 degrees while the internet flesh cement sets, seals up, hardens,

I fully realize my operations are the result of good fortune largesse, am eternally grateful to all who have helped me on whatever level of support that has been to date. I do not feel worthy, but once I heal, part of my focus will be figuring out how to pay this forward.

 

The support to date has got me thru the operations now, and the week of post operative time spent in Los Angeles, the plane ride home, got in the door, collapsed into prone mode, afraid to stand up now, the sutures have to heal, solidify, like wet cement

yup, some of us be entering the twilight of the youth, time to make a bucket list

 

will be over to warehouse Sunday, stuff got mailed out by daughter Kati and her friend Christi, other stuff did not, will try to get the initial sort done which will enable my normal packer Jake to get the most number packed & out tomorrow

 

then within a day there will be the strays wandered up,

 

so far everything OK, unless i overwork next few weeks while sutures seal my hip flesh

 

am home for two days now, simply laying still while my internal wet cement drys then hardens,

 

am writing more over on my facebook - details etc

 

i got plenty (a few dozen) of the poster left, mayhaps i just send Roy a couple again, just in case they did not get it out -
