if that is styrofoam and not something on the book that is a beuatiful 8.5, it has 9.4 corners except for the bottom front LH corner, which i guess why it was downgraded

 

very nice colors and eye appeal

 

You got that right, its a great looking book and a great buy at under 5K compared to 10K for a VF/NM.

That's what I've been saying all along!

 

Clearly a buy the label not the book. Maybe the VF/NM copy is better (no way to know without see the books in person). But is it TWICE as good. Not in my opinion.

OK OK! I bow to your excellence, that does look like a piece of foam, and if it is only that, then that is a damn fine 8.5 and is better looking than the 9.0! The spine on the 9.0 looks a bit ropey? Maybe the 8.5 is resubmit worthy??

 

I think I know they guy who bought it!
