Recent covers, a custom creation and your opinion wanted

I have always thought that a person with "your" talent should look to do some covers with your creative interpretation of the story within...could be a very popular niche!!!

 

This is my ulltimate goal of course, for the moment I am finding doing covers that are very close to the original is what my clients are wanting.

 

Thanks though, I think I will have to create some samples.

Do what you want, and throw them up in the sales threads. I think you'd be pleasantly suprised.
I think that would be a nice change of pace where the artists would throw up stuff they wanted to do, I agree i think they would fly off the shelves.

working on an original piece right now, is a "scene" recreation from Hulk 181 with wolverine vs. wendigo vs hulk.
