Do you think this book should have been graded lower by CGC?

I came across this book on Comiclink.

 

With that large dust shadow and name written on the cover, do you think this book should have been graded lower than 9.4 by CGC? (see poll below)

 

 

 

 

I honestly do not get the need to threadcrahp on a book currently listed for sale.

 

It's one thing to question what should and should not be allowed in grade, and another altogether to knock a specific book based on a scan. Who knows what this book looks like in hand, or how any of us would grade it if given the chance.

 

I bet this book is a stunner, writing and shadow included and could see a case being made for 9.0, 9.2 or 9.4 given ones personal preference and interpretation of grading guidelines.

 

It isn't a botched grade, far from it imho. It's a 9.6 book, with 9.2 eye appeal.
