whats a good golden age run to read?

I'd have to agree that the Kurtzman war books are in a league of their own. I really love reading the early Green Lantern appearances in All-American. And there's nothing like an Archie book to put a smile on my face.

I agree with Little Lulu. My kids have worn out the reprints rereading them so many times.

You know, maybe I am an oddball but there are ga titles I really love. There are periodsfor some titles that I like such as the early Batman and Detective but that is it. A lot of the other books I like are really driven by the artwork. I actually think some of the SA stories were much better.

They're more obscure, but great fun. Jingle Jangle, especially the Pie Faced Prince of Old Pretzelburg by George Carlson, and of course SUPERSNIPE! The Boy With The Most Comics In America!
