Can't wait! :banana:

My cousin Marco and I just established "MAD MEN COMICS" and am looking forward to my first show experience on the "other" sie of the table.

Going a little crazy sorting through thousands of books deciding what to bring.... :pullhair:

See you all there! :acclaim:

Nine days away from the winter Toronto ComiCON!

ALSO, on February 28th we will be accepting exhibitor* and artist alley applications for the June 5-6, 2010 annual Toronto ComiCON Fan Appreciation Event --- Toronto's only multi-day comics-only event! No movie stars, no voice actors, no wrestlers, no tv stars ---- just a giant room full of comics and comic book creators. We'll have another stellar list of out of town pros and all of your favourite local creators. This event has the support of the majority of comic shops in the GTA and best of all - admission is cheap on Saturday and free** on Sunday!

============

* If you want an exhibitor kit emailed to you now, please email Tiziano or myself and we'll send you a copy asap: tiziano@hobbystar.com or kevin@hobbystar.com

Note that there are incentive breaks when you book 4 or more tables.

**Free = buy $10 worth of comics at a participating GTA store and you get a free admission ticket for Sunday. If you don't get a free admission ticket at a participating store you will have to pay $10 at the door but we will give you a voucher that is good for spending at any of the dealer tables inside the show. Either way, the show does not earn profit from admissions on Sunday. Our way of giving back to the dealers and fans who attend our events all year round!

Guy Davis has written about the shows on his website:

http://www.guydavisartworks.com/mainFrameset2.htm

Looks like he'll be keeping sketching at the con to just personalized card sketches:

On Sunday, Feb. 28 I’ll also be at the Toronto ComiCon from 11-5pm. I won’t be taking on any commissions at the show but will be doing quick personalized card sketches and always happy to sign any books you want to bring by or just chat. So if you’re in the area, stop by and say hello!

There will be a lot of great Guy Davis artwork for sale (from Sandman Mystery Theatre, BPRD and The Marquis, as well as some additional misc. pieces) on both Saturday and Sunday.

PS 6 days!
