All three floors were used in 2022. Floor 1 was Exhibitors, Artist Alley and Pros, Floor 2 was community and food court + programming, Floor 3 was celebrity autographs. t Good points about the escalators, I will point that out to the operations team.

Yup. I have one and it’s long. We are looking at three consecutive waves of guest announcements starting this Tuesday, the second December 5, the third December 12 There will probably be a fourth batch if all goes well. The second batch of New Orleans guests is also this Tuesday. Fan Expo Portland hopefully December 5 (all) and same with first batch of Fan Expo Vancouver creator guests (Dec 5) with the second in January.

Great review, for complicated reasons the facility is only available to us on the Thanksgiving weekend so we are working to grow the Expo then as best as possible and we saw a pretty spectacular jump in attendance between 2022 and 2023. But yes, this specific weekend makes it a little harder for talent and vendors but I’ve already got some great creators lined up for 2024. I really liked the layout for the creator guests this year as well, with great natural light and lots of room in front of the tables.

No need to camp out, should be fine. The full ones will be anything specially ticketed like Mark Hamill.

Rosa cancelled a week before the show, he hurt his back. He was on the website at the bottom of the page in the Unable to Attend Section. Fan Expo Portland is one of the six (now five) former Wizard shows we acquired from them. As is usually the case, deals are made well in advance with convention centers and the Portland convention was reserved and we could not change the dates so we made the best of it and used it as an opportunity to bring some Portland celebrities to Vancouver. Next year Portland will be held on January 12-14 while Vancouver will be on February 17-19. Family Day weekend has proven to be a popular choice for FXV and attendance apparently doubled over the 2022 edition.
