Whoever the administrator is that is messing with my threads, please identify yourself to me via PM. I do not appreciate how you are handling this issue. You are combining threads that are purposefully separate.

I was not intending to create new threads. I wanted my old threads, which date back more than a year, to continue but YOU moved them to the other location without inquiring with me first, thus necessitating placing them in a more appropriate location.

Please SEPARATE what you merged. If you have a problem, then PM me or call me at 202-498-0011 and we'll discuss what needs to be done to be in compliance with CGC rules, which I do not believe I have violated in the slightest.

Cool little book there. Don't mean to denigrate your post, but Palisade OO collection? That's a joke, right?

No joke.

The OO owner lived in the Palisade's area of Washington, D.C. Hence the name.

Very tough anti-commie books to find, especially the 1950.

OSPG estimates 20-30 copies of the 1950 edition exist (10 in total have been CGC'd, 3 of which are restored) and 80+ of the 1958 (24 copies CGC'd, 1 restored). Gerber gives these "7" and "8" designations, though I think he has those backwards.

A CGC 7.5 1950 version with moderate restoration just sold at Heritage last month for a strong price of $418.00.

2nd highest graded copy

$650.00

Devil1950.jpg

$200.00 - same as last GPA sale in Oct 2008

I wouldn't give the light tan pages too much thought b/c of the type of paper used and the rarity. Doesn't really look any difference than the cream designated copy! 2c

I don't know what CGC ate for breakfast when they graded this copy. It looks like a 9.2. All I can see that would pull it down is a slight bc stain that is barely visible. I presume there is something hidden somewhere but from an appearance standpoint, it ain't there!

$70.00 shipped domestically including insurance (so the book is about $55.00). Inquire for international rates.
