If it was you who bought the letter, you got an excellent value in my opinion.

 

For a price lower than most would pay for a total beater copy of am early GA Sub-Mariner or Marvel Mystery, you picked up something that could be in a comic book museum.

Presumably Cory Seidlemeier (sp?), editor of the Marvel Masterworks series, won the letter. I don't know if he did it for himself personally or for Marvel's archives.
