I hate to be the Grinch, but that looks as though it's been trimmed.

 

What about this suggest trimming to you? That's an area I'm trying to get better at spotting (right now I have no clue). It sounds as if you've change your mind due to provenance, but I'm still curious what made you think that.

It was the price box area. Looks a little bit low in an area. Probably just my eyes playing tricks on me.

Both zuckus3000 and TFL called it. I think the tanning really brought it down

Well that doesn't bode well for about 5 of the 15 books I just submitted. guess they will be coming back to me.

 

What are the graders notes? That will shed light on the sitch.

I've never actually called about graders notes before but since I do have two PLOD's in the batch both with SP CT I'll probably give that a shot this time around. With this copy the tanning is really unattractive so I actually don't disagree there.

It does look a little worse in the case I think....

C2OW pages, which usually includes tanning, is allowed up to a 9.4.....
