OT Life sucks sometimes

Is a cold enough of a sickness to stay home from work?

Even if it is it shouldn't keep you at home.

You should take the time to get out of the house and explore

the places around town on foot that you normally pass by

at 40mph on your way to work.

I think if I were sick, I'd rather recover faster by staying indoors where it's warm and cozy. I certainly wouldn't wander the streets spreading my infection to passers-by.

Then again, that's just me.

She lives in Texas. Its warm and cozy outside.

Whether you stay indoors and "spread" that killer cold to everyone who comes inside your home and dotes on you that you know or potentially to strangers in a cafe, library or while catching fresh air on the street doesn't is not that big of a difference. (shrug)

I think a a walk outside is far healthier mentally and physically than staying curled up in a snuggie with that "I'm dying " feeling all day on your mind draining energy from your immune system.

Then again thats just me who hasn't taken a sick day in almost a decade :juggle:

best wishes. I am blessed this year of not getting sick much but my 2.5 years son got the H1N1 flu 2 weeks ago and that wasn't fun. It wasn't fun to see him burning up in 102 and above fever. He was so hot that we had to sit him in a tub with cold water and some ice cubes for precaution until the Tamifllu took over. He had high fever for 2 days and that was the scary part but he got over it quickly.
