better than G, less than VG. G/VG sounds about right. Maybe even VG-. The stains on the back cover look worse than the structural issues. Nice book - displays well since much of the problem is back cover.

wowza, i read the first sentence and then my eyes scanned the front and I said to myself a "3.0"? no this can't be and then "WHAM" the back page knocked me out. Is that food grease? I am stump on stain or grease like this. Is that on the back page also? just asking in case it makes a difference for the pros.

Not sure its smooth and I dont feel anything on the back of the book

if that is the case, I think it is cooking oil/grease. If you take some cooking oil and drop a few drops on piece of paper, you will see a similar effect....DON'T DO IT ON A COMIC
