He's no Chuck Rozanski, but he does OK

Yep, its been a little frustrating this year watching our young team (UNC) try to play consistently. I'm betting we will be close to double digit loses by the end of the year. Texas looks great, no doubt they are Final Four quality. Now Florida on the other hand..... (shrug)

You'll feel so much better about it if you sell me your Startling #10 :foryou:

Interesting article, but your heading is correct " HE IS NO Chuck Rozanski" reason being not too many people would rip someone off of a raider's of the lost ark, treasure of comics and pay them $ 10 cents a book, when he knew damn well the comics are worth a lot more...( and i won't even get into the comic art)

but then again most comic book dealers today have no integrity anyways, and could care less who they rip off

it must have been really nice of Chuck Rozanski to have mint copies of batman 1, action comics 1, detective 27, and much more timeless comic book classics .

The church family where totally clueless of the value of the comics, but i guarantee you mr. Chuck Rozanski did not lose a wink of sleep then , and he does not lose any sleep over it now, and i 'm sure none of the many comic book dealers today lose a wink of sleep when the rip someone off and most of them brag about it

( remember the comic dealer that the little old lady came into his shop with the mint copies of action comics 1-10 i believe ,yeah we know how that turned out)

Tyler Pokrass. is no chuck, and yes he obvious ripped off the doctor, just another guy in the comic business who ripped someone off who did not learn the value. NUFF SAID

Easy Bluenote, the comics I sold the doctor while I was in law school more than 12 years ago were primarily runs of Silver Age Marvels, including all the keys. He's got a nice AF 15 as well from me. Rip him off? I wish I still had those books because we all know what early SA Marvels are bringing these days!

Hey Bill! Startling 10....hmmmmmm....there is a decent 3.0 coming up in the next Heritage Signature, no? I always thought that was an overguide book and quite a bit harder to find than say, an Exciting 9. High grade per census is a 5.5? There have got to be a few pedigrees out there.....maybe....? hm

What's up Tyler?

I am aware of the copy coming up, but over guide? Perish the thought. :gossip:

Wouldn't it be nice to turn up the Larson or Church copy of that book? :cloud9:

Mint copies of Action 1 - 10??? Maybe in someone's dreams. Most of our dreams actually. Only one copy of Action 1 that is known to be in any grade approaching Mint, and it is the Church copy.

Sounds like Bluenote is hitting some sour notes

No Larson :(

As far as I can guess, the only possible pedigreed copies (none confirmed) would be:

- likely - Church,

- wholly possible - Cosmic Aeroplane, Reilly - but where are all the Reilly Nedors?

- unlikely - Crippen, Rockford - I say these are unlikely because these newer peds change hands on a semi-annual basis it seems. I would have thought one would have surfaced by now.
