King St. and Queen St. have tons of great little places to choose from.

The Ex. is a bit of a dead zone because there isn't a large work force on the grounds and they are surrounded by residential area to the north and the lake to the south.

The walk (or a street car ride) to King or Queen would be worth it IMO.

Yeah you're definitely looking at having to walk up to King/Queen. I don't think it's 20 minutes, though. Think it usually takes me around 10 or so. There's decent eats in the neighborhood for sure depending what you want.

Also-- whoever is trying to fill out my old comicparty form online please don't. It's actually removed off the server so I'm just getting blank emails. Can't even figure out how it's sending them, but I'm guessing I still have the mail -script somewhere. But since I can't recall where it's saved I can't delete it either. lol

Not at all! Just deleted the form off the server because it was from like 2 parties ago. (And I have to re-write the -script anyway.)

No it's definitely on.

Actually, one more thing-- if anyone has thoughts on the best day to have a party/dinner post up or let me know. Can be any of the days. I actually booked off two days from work surrounding the con to be able to enjoy it a bit!

Thanks to everyone with the breakfast ideas. I am a big fan of the Queen/King street area so I am guessing I will just take the train to Union and walk back to the convention. I am figuring about 30 minutes tops to walk it.

As for the ticket-package. I asked the question in another forum and I was warned by many that Wizard doesn't have their act together when it comes to the packages. They substitute freely and will even resort to gift certificates. This is all hearsay and has nothing to do with the show itself (which is driven by the dealers/special guest) but only the VIP packages. It seemed like a universal response.

I am coming to this show on Saturday and Sunday, has anyone had experience with the different packages? I was just going to buy a 3 day pass, but the VIP package looks pretty interesting, especially depending on what the exclusive signings are. Any feedback would be great!
