An avid comic book fan, Asner is a member of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, a free speech organization that's dedicated to protecting comic book creators and retailers from prosecutions based on content.

 

Asner has always been there for a good cause, even when it was fashionable and advisable not to be.

Isnt the CBLD really one of those organizations -- like the ACLU -- that defends comic book proprieters who sell "adult" comix against porn-peddling charges?

 

It is no suprise that an ultra-leftie like Asner belongs to this group...

Yep, but they've got to stop wasting money defending those :censored: who sell them to kids. After seeing a few of those cases, I wouldn't donate them a red cent.
