Consignments are now being accepted for Quality Comix Premiere April Auction that starts April 11th. All books that will be consigned need to be received by the NY office by the consignment deadline of April 5th in order to be placed into the auction. The consignment percentage for all CGC certified books is 7% which is the best in the industry. Pressing Service now offered thru Quality Comix
Quality Comix is proud to announce it's new professional pressing service. Two tiers are offered - Regular tier turnaround time is 2 weeks and Express tier turnaround time is only 3 business days! Along with having superior service and turnaround times, Quality Comix also offers some of the best pressing rates in the industry. Customers that wish to have their books pressed can log into their accounts to create a pressing invoice to be mailed with the comics that need a press. Our current pressing rates can be viewed by clicking here. Rates start at a LOW $10 for books printed after 1970. Books printed before 1970 start at only $20. Rates go up depending on service selected and value of book being submitted.

Great books, I put a few bids, but why is the auction like 3 years long?

 

Brent, as always a great selection. The website and auction is user friendly,

easy to navigate and contains excellent scans. However, I agree that 3 weeks is

a very long time and buyers tends to lose interest. I know you are a very intelligent person so I am curious why you chose such a long duration. You must have your reasons, please share.

Our April auction and subsequent auctions will be 2 weeks in duration. 3 weeks was decided on for this auction to better market it. But as you and others have said, there is a trade off for that length.

 

Which is why we have decided (in mid Jan.) to make subsequent auctions 14 days.

Congrats on your inventory for this auction.

It certainly is the best of the 3 that have run close together. The Comiclink sale was not particularly inspiring, and the Connect auction still running has certainly had very many nice books, but of course too specialised for some.

Overall your auction has some knockout stuff.
