Ah, I thought you were referring to that infamous "Have a Few Beers / Scorpio" storyline in Defenders. Man, those guys were drinking beers, talking about beers, (yes, the "s" is how it's referred to), tossing beer cans, etc.

 

Heck, even Moon Knight uses an empty beer can to escape a death trap.

 

I read those books as a kid, and immediately went to the fridge and scammed one of my Dad's beers.
