PGM: TOS 97

Book is very sharp, with lots of gloss and bright inks. I'm having a hard time grading it due to the top staple which has been bent into the book. Also there is a chip out of the left edge on the back cover. I have a few copies with the same missing chip, and I am inclined to believe this is a production flaw. Anyone else have a copy with the chip missing on the BC?

...that staple is production error also...along with the rough outer edge cut...

I wonder what percentage of the print run for this issue are missing the chip?

I know both of mine have a chip in the

same location..have to check the staple.

One of my slabbed Subby #1's has the exact same chip in the exact same spot. Rest of the book is perfect. Graded a 9.2....With the stress around the top staple, I would say you have a good shot at a 9.0

8.5 though it might creep up to a 9.0.

8.5 because of the size of the missing chip. A great looking copy regardless of the CGC grade.
