Dated 1946.Was wondering if it ever had a dust jacket?

Not looking to part with it,but does anyone have an idea

of value,if any?I'm real fond of it and wanted to share.

That's a great book. I hunted for one with a dust jacket for a while, then gave up. I may start hunting again

I have a lot of Whitman books and think they are pretty neat. This one has a dust cover and I think it is mine but may be photoshopped a little.

Keep posting the inside drawings and I will dig out my Blondie scrapbook. I think there are a lot of early Sunday pages in there. Someone mentioned that Chic Young was doing full figures and backgrounds when most of the other cartoonist switched to minimal effort for the Sunday funnies.

This is the dust jacket on my copy (1947). The book itself has a plain cover, not the embossed one like the earlier edition.

 

 

Dagwood looks pretty evil in this one.

But the best Blondie book is this WW2 era children's book.

 

 

Pretty innocuous from the front, but inside it's pure classic WW2 goodness.

I like these Hingees too. I have had the Blondie set for a while but got the Terry and the Pirate set recently.
