Bought it from a local comic shop and at the time I really didn't look to closely at the condition of the books I bought. I would however get to the shop the day books were released so they were not pawed through by a bunch of people before me. I bought them to read and you can really tell the books I liked as they are the most worn. :) That particular book spent most of its life in poly and was only put in Mylar about 5 years ago. I would like to think that the grading done by CGC is impartial and does not take into account of the age of the book.

The reintro of the original X-Men team as X-Factor (Avengers 263 - Fantastic Four 286 - X-Factor 1). A very cool book to get back as a 9.9 example.

This is the issue where it is "revealed" Jean Grey was not the original Phoenix that left Jamaica Bay, but actually had been in suspended animation the entire time at the bottom of the bay.

This used to be a very hot ticket back in the day. :)

It definitely caught the attention of X-Men/X-Factor fans back then, but I don't think it ever reached "hot ticket" status. It is a very cool book to own for X-Men completests.
