Corners look sharp from the front. Maybe slightly blunted from the back. I would call it a 9.4!

Nope... The cover has no color breaks in it or stress lines along the spine.

For me it is the soft corners, seen mostly on the back scan, top and bottom spine. If the bottom corner was sharper I could see a 9.6
