Marvel Fanfare #2 CGC 9.8 s/s Michael Golden

Great book, first four issues of this title are some of the tightest Golden & Claremont stuff around. Hard to find in 9.8 for some reason, I've sub'd about 5 to 7 cps. each of 1, 2, 3 and this is my first 9.8

Tied with only one other 9.8 s/s

$95

Here's some really nice stuff that you just don't see every day.

At least I don't.

I remember this stuff from the early 80s, and it was awesome.

The art, the covers...especially the covers!

Authur Sudaym before Zombies....Neal Adams, Michael Golden...Bill Sienkiewicz painted covers....

ECHO OF FUTUREPAST and Amazing High Adventures.

The Echo stuff featured first app. of Bucky O'Hare that Hama & Golden colaborated on, and as I understand it, the character later had a tv show and merchandising. I don't recall the show myself, but I have to ask Golden about it when I see him next.

Great stuff. The artwork in these books frickin' rocked.

You have the 1st app of Bucky?

According to Wikipedia, his 1st app. is ECHO OF FUTUREPAST #1

Also from Wiki:

The Bucky O'Hare comic book was first published by Continuity Comics in comic book form in the mid-1980s, appearing in the anthology series Echo of Futurepast, with Hama writing and Michael Golden on pencils. The series was later collected into an oversized graphic novel. Hama wrote a second Bucky O'Hare arc, which was never published.[1]

The comic book spawned an animated TV show between September 1991 & January 1992, along with a series of action figures.

A Bucky O'Hare video game developed by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1992, and a Bucky O'Hare arcade game was also released.

ECHO OF FUTUREPAST #5 CGC 9.6 s/s Larry Hama & Michael Golden

This looks to be the toughest of all of them to get in high grade 9.8

Census records only one blue label 9.8 with 2 cps. yellow s/s 9.6 (which I own both)

$80
