Great Comics #3, Classic Hitler Cover and story "Futura Takes Hitler to Hell", Apparent 8.0 (VF). Great Comics Publications, Feb/March 1942. Likely cover artist Charles Sultan. Fantasy Masterpieces restoration certificate (October 1994); cleaned cover, replaced chips to spine, strengthen spine area, seal tears, replace small corners to cover, strengthen creases, color touch as needed, press to remove spine roll. Book was a solid vg prior to restoration.

 

Also note that the book is slightly mis-cut. Only two copies have ever sold via Heritage Auctions, one was also mis-cut like this one, the 2.5 grade Crippen copy (~$600). The other (a very solid 6.0) sold for $4,480 in May 2008. A very very rare book, under estimated by Gerber. 10 total in the CGC census as of 6/2009. Note; book photographed in the Gerber photo journal guide is also slightly mis-cut.
