Thrilling Detective, April 1934 in Good/Good+. Very cool early detective pulp with an 'oriental menace' cover theme, and absolutely blazing cover & spine reds... hard to believe this is from 1934. Some tears on the back spine and a tear through the Asian gent on front have been glued and/or taped from inside. Bold colorful spine, tho some chips missing. Despite the wear, real attractive book.

Thrilling Detective, Nov 1945 in VG+. Beautiful copy of this detective pulp... except for the chips along bottom edge, looks like a quite high-end copy. (Note: this book is somewhat thinner than average for a 40s pulp.) Very attractive cover & spine, white (or darn close!) pages.

Science Fiction, August 1940 in G/G+. Awesome monster cover by Frank Paul, and interior story by Eando Binder. Front looks terrific; back has a piece missing which drops the technical grade. Nice black cover.

Fantastic Adventures, July 1948 in VG/VG+. Sweet GGA cover with rich colors... really nice deep burgundy inks & colorful spine. As with many of these pulps, some cool B/W illos inside... check out this GGA illo by Virgil Finlay! Link

Thrilling Wonder Stories, Winter 1945 in Good+. Dynamic GGA cover by Earle Bergey. Some color loss from moisture on both covers; not too bad on front.

Thrilling Wonder Stories, June 1949 in GVG. Another beautiful Bergey sci-fi/GGA cover. Glossy book with bold colors, compromised by a tear/split in the ULC and a discreet split at bottom spine. Nice spine colors.

(sorry about the krappy photo... book looks much better.)
