RTC23 is launching Marvel Comics character TVs/monitors using technology developed by parent Roundtable Concepts. In addition to decorative frames, the TVs use the 8 to 10 second delay when powering on to display an image featuring Marvel characters.

 

An interesting idea for keeping your TV in theme with your comic room.

 

Can't see myself getting one though.

Wonder if you can mod it to any picture you want for that boot up or if it is whatever is installed on it. For computers you can already mod the bios splash screen so that an image of your choice appears instead of the motherboard manufacturers spash screen.

I remember back in the late 70's they sold KISS radios by TV commercial

and as a kid I believed that the radio only played kiss music...
