Yeah I'm having a though time finding a good scanner My hp is no good for slabs, each issue comes completely off focus And I can't imagine going to a store with a slab asking salesmen to scan it to see if it's good or trash

Any suggestions?

I would say do a search. Lots of guys like those older mustek scanners.....

 

 

The same thing happens to me, the newer scanners scan the raised outer part of the case and not the good flat part.
