Dark Horse's Lone Wolf & Cub digest reprints -- OP?

Maybe I've been asleep at the wheel.

 

Various Dark Horse Lone Wolf and Cub reprint digests seem to be out of print and are suddenly going for high prices on Amazon, eBay and ABEbooks.

 

Looks like V 1, 5, 13, 16, 17 and 27. (I may have missed a few.)

 

I don't know if anyone is paying these "back-issue" prices, BTW. But sellers are marking up the OP volumes aggressively, especially in New condition.

 

Now I recall that DH let some of their Star Wars and Buffy reprints go Out of Print, only to issue them again a few years down the road in their compact omnibus format.

 

Maybe they're considering a repackaging of Lone Wolf and Cub. Just speculating. If they do, I hope they don't reprint them in the original Manga style, right-to-left. I know this is what purists prefer, but my rapidly aging brain couldn't handle it!
