Colors are brighter than my scanner is showing...

 

split at the spine and I'm sure all pages. Surprisingly supple cover and pages when compared to the spine. It's all there and looks awsome in a mylar.

Come on now...it's not a No Grade NG....It's all there, so is it a 0.5 or a 1.0 or even a NM ebay style?

I am saying a 0.5 since the cover and all wraps for the most part are completely split (or at least that is what I was told)

CGC gives incomplete books a .5 so since this is complete albeit split I would say a 1.0 and no higher

1.0 = FR

1.2 = FR+

1.5 = FR/G

 

Just because CGC doesn't use a grade doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

That's true, but 0.5 is a floor (there is no lower grade)--you can certainly have substantially complete books that are 0.5s. I can't see how this is not one of them--it's a collection of separate pages.

Question. If someone took and reinforced the spine with scotch clear tape and reattached the cover with the same tape would it be considered restored and or would it bump the grade to a 1.0 ?
