Hi all,

 

I am looking at this particular book but don't know how the actual name written on the cover and what looks like marker on the cover would affect the grade. Other then that its a really nice book. Thoughts and comments appreciated.

9.0/9.2 based on the FC only. Not sure about the scribble, but the name should not impact the book.

9.0 possibly 8.5 depending on how fuzzy the bottom spine corner is...name will not affect CGC grade but will be a deal-breaker for a lot of people upon re-sale...

Yes. And the cross out. Can't see this getting a really high grade...

Aesthetics is very individual. Without the cross-out, I don't mind the name as it gives the book a sort of quaint provenance ... but the cross-out is just messy.

 

I could see how most buyers wouldn't want any writing whatsoever.
