In another life, I used to be a professional musician - touring, recording, etc. We did reasonably well; our singer even won a Juno.

I quit the business 20 years ago (Jan 1st 1990), and I haven't played in public, and I've rarely played for my own enjoyment, since then. I was that burnt out and disillusioned.

On June 1st my band is holding a 25th anniversary reunion gig. It's the most excited I've been in ages. I've got my performing mojo back. :whee:

(Although I have a hell of a lot of cramming to do in the next 4 weeks.)

That's my good news story for this evening. :sumo:

I just paid off a book I have wanted for quite some time. I have some great pm conversations with friends here. I am thankful for everyday I get to spend with my family. Nothing is better then seeing my son smile, or the feeling I still get when I kiss my wife. All the important things in my life are going great, and the rest is really just filler. And I just had a nice night with my family at the boardwalk. Life is pretty sweet.

Wow, that is a pretty good list...

Neal Adams should definitely be on the list.

Like Gator, I am a big fan of Fox News.

I prefer snickers blizzards, or simply Breyer's chocolate or Natural Vanilla ice cream, or on occasion a little Haagen Daz

Good italian food (Carmines, Maggiano's, Pasta House locally)

PF Changs

Calvert City Drive In cheeseburgers (the best anywhere)

a real cherry coke (not the in the can)

A really good pizza, or some fresh made chocolate chip cookies

Sitting on the back porch swing late in the afternoon with a nice breeze blowing
