What's new in your Silver Age collection this week 43 43

This weekend at Heroes I picked up a Tales of Suspense #72 around an 8.0 or higher, an Aquaman #27 around 8.0, and an Aquaman #41 around 8.5, all from Dale Roberts booth.

That's a very nice book and if you're going to collect one DC title that's a pretty nifty series. It's always been one of my favorites. Congrats on the pickup.

I had my eye on that one earlier in the week, but never was around for the auction. Nice pick-up! Congrats BIlly

 

Well, I ended up getting this one on the CLink auction yesterday and once again, I've spent some coin I was saving for SDCC. Sgt. Fury was one of my favorite reads as a kid and I feel the title doesn't get the respect it deserves.

Here's my recently acquired poor man's copy of X-Men #4!

I like it. It doesn't look brittle, but soft. The sad part is that piece of tape looks pretty new.

 

Both pieces look pretty new, I should say.

In such a low grade it really won’t matter.

Besides, it‘s "invisible" tape, which is a lot easier to remove, and I do think it’s also bound to do less damage when the glue dries off.
