I believe this the first ever mention of a "mutant" in one panel until the X-Men.

Strange Adventures #9 (6/51), featuring the origin and first appearance of Capt. Comet, in beautiful VF- condition, with a light crease near the cover edge and a tiny bit worn off the bottom corner of the cover. The cover has amazing color and gloss. Murphy Anderson art.
