Pulps and Paperbacks - ERB, RE Howard, Frazetta, ACE Conans, LOTR 1st Edn's

I am in a big refocus stage right now with my collecting habit (comic collection down to just 20 or so books right now), and since these pulps/digests/paperbacks are taking up valuable shelf space that my wife thinks she can put to better use I am going to blow them out in this thread.

 

As usual, trumps all PMs/offers.

 

Shipping starts at $6 for up to 2 books/pulps/digests in a bubble padded envelope with cardboard interior proteciton in Canada and the Continental USA.

First up...............

 

Weird Tales Volume 25 Number 6 - June 1935 - $50

 

Grade: GD+ to GD/VG (not sure how to grade pulps - bought it as a VG but that is too high IMHO)

 

Features the conclusion to RE Howard's classic Conan Tale "Beyond the Black River".

 

The spine is faded (will take a pic tomorrow if needed) and there is blunting/chipping out of the top and bottom right corners on the interior pages. Pages are also tanning and there is a written note at the bottom of the back cover. There is also some ink transfer/smudging on the table of contents.

 

Otherwise, the pulp is still very supple and firmly attached at the spine.

Features "Prize Ship" by Philip K. and "Daughter" by Philip Jose Farmer.

 

Nice copy with just some general wear along the edge overhangs and creases/bends along the spine. The pages are off white to white.
