what kind of shape is the ASM 298/299 in?

 

Hulk 340?

 

I would check out the scans. The Hulk 340 is nice, brilliant colors. Barely perceptible CB crease on BC. Corners aren't quite perfectly square. Looks 9.4 too me. Some board folks seem to think 9.6 based on the scans in the grading thread, but I don't think so. There is a miswrap. In some ways it is nicer than the 9.8 I acquired.

 

I say 8.0 on the 298 and 8.5/9.0 on the 299 but those grades might are probably a little harsh.
