Has anyone been to this one day show in the past?

 

Is it mostly $1 comics or is there a nice selection of gold/silver there?

 

 

I'm going to be nearby and thought I'd check it out if it was worth it.

I have been to it, and many other shows that Alan does (Springfield, Urbana), and there is usually a wide variety of comics. Just a handful of dealers, but they are great shows for buying comics. Something for everyone, gold, silver, bronze copper to modern, and lots of cheapy boxes as well.

I've never been to a show in Peoria, but I've attended both as a buyer and sold at these one-day comic cons organized by Alan in other cities (Rockford, IL and Madison, WI). There are normally at least 10 to 12 sellers of various items (mostly comic books). Alan sells mostly cheap bulk stuff but there are other dealers who normally have everything from Golden Age to Modern Age and some have slabs to sell too.

 

If you're going to be in the area then it's definitely worth a trip over to see what's there. (thumbs u
