I'm sure this is much lower quality that I think it is, but I'm very new to this so I figured I could ask.

 

Anyway here are the pictures and scans:

 

The little black line right there is just a dog hair, not actually there.

 

I tried to be pretty thorough.

 

Oh, and the weird crosshatching thing you see going on on the scan of the back is from the scanner, can't really figure out what causes it other than my scanner is a POS.

I'm very glad you posted this. I was going to post a book in similar condition and watch the veterans go at it. Almost all books shipped to LCS' these days have that small color break all the way down the spine while many high grade older books have flat spines. Have shipping practices changed? How does it affect the grade?

It doesn't seem so common on the Indie books, but among all my DC and Marvel books, I think the only book that doesn't seem to have it is the Foil Invincible Iron Man 25 variant, which appears to have a thicker than normal cover.

Just a helpful note: your scans and photos are way too large. Resize them to around 900/1,000 pixels in width and you're onto a winner.

 

Judging by the spine on that book though I'd say a 9.4 at best, probable 9.2.
