I looked at the split again today. Looks to be more of a 5/16" (8mm) split than a 3/8 (9mm) split. I'm probably going to grade it next week as Philly....

Tough defect to grade on such an overall nice looking book. I think its in the 8.0 range but 8.5 is certainly not out of the question.
