What to do with my modern 9.4

If it was just as nice as a 9.8, it would be a 9.8 :shrug:

 

The reality is that a CGC 9.4 copy of that book is worth $15-20 on a good day - which is less than the slabbing cost. The OP might as well crack the book out the slab, chalk this one up to experience, and enjoy having a nice NM raw copy for his collection.

A 9.4 174 might get you back your costs. It's not like it's worthless. A nice 174 will sell raw for a non-trivial % of OPG.
