How Is "Now" For Selling?

If it`s Spidey`s hold onto till the movie reboot, its only a year and a half away.

 

Usually movie hype affects the comic it's taken from well in advance as we've been seeing with Avengers, Thor, and Captain America since they had firm cast announcements and cameos in the Iron Man and Hulk films, so at minimum I'd wait until the studio releases more details about the film and a trailer to get people excited. Release date on the film is currently July 2012, the trailer would likely come out either summer or Christmas 2011.

So call me arrogant and/or dismissive..., but it's going to get even better

 

Is this general pessimism, or do you have historical parallels indicating that to be likely?

 

I'd agree, but only have gut feeling to back it up. Employment is a lagging economic indicator, so when the economy/market turns, it may take time to trickle down. Also, any asset class chasers that moved into comics may move back into quicker recovering asset classes.
