Great books! How come Siege #3 Deadpool variant's so pricey? High ratio? O.o

 

Theres not really a ratio. As a comic shop you can only obtain one if you destroy 5 or 6 DC comics from your shelf to get one. That was what Marvel did for the dealers to get one. A very classy move by marvel (thumbs u

Are you serious? :o That's so dirty! How does Marvel monitor that the comics have been destroyed anw?

 

They had to send in the covers. A neat side note: That whole thing backfired on Marvel. A bunch of retailers ended up back ordering issues of those blackest night issues just to get that variant. Something like 50,000 or so copies were ordered from diamond. Enough so that some of those books went back to the diamond top 100 months after they were initially released. So basically DC got an extra $60,000-$80,000 (don't know their exact cut) just because of Marvel's promotion. Ba-zing!!!!!!!!!!!!
