Please Grade this Atlas War book

A recent pickup - freshly cracked from it's Brand X slab.

 

The back cover looks at least as nice as the front. There is some light tanning on the inside covers and note there is a tiny water spot up near the Atlas logo (visible in scan), and an equally small one at the bottom right corner (visible only on inside FC). No other flaws not evident in scan. Pages are off-white.

A really nice book, congrats. With the mentioned water stains, abraded Bottom left corner, and the color breaking spine creases I would say 6.0 with 6.5 a possibility.

FWIW the Brand X grade was 6.0 - very reasonable, as in hand I would put it on the 6.0/6.5 bubble, and would probably be sold as a 7.0 raw by more than a few dealers.

 

Not sure why it had been slabbed, as the shipped price ended up being roughly the cost of slabbing and shipping alone.
