Official announcement of Wood exhibition at Palma with details of pieces.

The Exposition that all Wallace Wood addicts and EC fans need to see.

 

From September 16 to November the 7th, 2010. At the "Casal Solleric" in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

 

I will be the curator with Florentino Florez of an incredible exhibit.

 

It's a two years of work and with the help of Roger Hill, Bill Pearson and Jerry Weist, I can tell you that a trip to Palma in September needs to be done.

 

We will present over 200 original pieces of art, among other it will includes:

 

- Complete story for Weird Science #22 - "My World"

- Complete story for Weird Fantasy #17 - "There will come soft rains"

- Complete story for Weird Science-Fantasy #23 - "The Children"

- Complete story for Two Fisted Tales #34 - "Trial by Arms"

- Complete story for Mad #11 - "Flesh Garden"

- Complete story for Mad #13 - "Prince Violent"

- Complete story for Vampirella #12 - "To Kill a God"

- Cover to Weird Science #14

- Cover to Weird Science #21

- Cover to Mad #28

- Cover to Daredevil #10

- Cover to Dynamo #3

- Cover to Heroes inc. Presents Cannon #1

- Prince Valiant Sunday #1762 (the only one)

- Sally Forth Sunday #1 & 4 and others from the first 20

- Cannon Sunday #1

 

And many, many other incredible pieces like Galaxy (Color, Grey-tone), Youth (Color & B&W), Art for Topps, Spirit with Eisner, unpublished art, etc.

 

As a real exhibit needs a catalog, I'm working since many months on a full color 352 page book, over 5 pounds.

 

This is the exhibit Wood deserves, the book will remain for the future

generations.
