But im thinking it has to out do the 3.0 weve seen [former koko copy] by a fair margin. It is a point and a half spread there.

Metro has a graded 5.0 asking $40k on their site right now.

so we are between a 3.0 at 18k and a 5.0 at 40k

This copy sold for about 28k in the P. Weiss auction in February. There shouldn´t be much room left to go up. Maybe another 5k, but if Heritage didn´t buy these books from PW to resell them themselves, the seller will most likely not make a win, considering the fees he´ll have to pay to list it on HA.

Copies of these have really been coming out of the wood work lately, this book doesn't appear to be as rare as I thought it would be. What's the Gerber rating, 7?

i think it's the greatest cover in the history of comics. no, the best cover in the history of periodicals. maybe the best cover art in any medium. maybe hell, it IS the best.
