How does removing "insert cards" affect the grade?

3 posts in this topic

Back in the 90's Marvel & DC started binding sample cards into the books. Not talking about the loose cards that were often inserted in a bagged comic. The bound cards seem to create stress on the covers when book is opened. Is the book considered incomplete if the cards are removed, 'cause they annoy the heck out of me?

I agree they suck. The big 2 where doing this alot with advertising inserts just a few years back and all copies youd see would be stressed at those spots. Fine for mags not comics!
